One of our goals is to eliminate the need many Indigenous artisans face to exchange their craft traditions and cultural knowledge for alternative sources of income. We want to create a model of collaboration and partnership that is guided by indigenous people, is aligned with indigenous goals and benefits Indigenous communities in a sustainable way. We want the Western world to recognize, value and celebrate the design prowess, wisdom and beauty of Indigenous cultures and artisanal traditions, and wish to enable people to use their purchasing power to help uplift Indigenous artisans and communities to help protect a way of life that is deeply connected to the natural world and all of its wisdom.
