traveler
I'm Deena, a forty eight year old, mother of 2 and former event photographer. Photography has been a huge part of my life for the last 25 years. When COVID hit and my professional photography career got cancelled until further notice, I turned to Photographers Without Borders to re-educate myself and start using my photography to do some 'good' in the world. Meeting Danielle has changed my life. I know that I’m on my way to being the travelling visual storyteller I've always dreamed of being.
REMEMBERING MAX
These are moments I documented of Danielle and her fur babies, Max and Whisper during the last 6 months of Max's life. The experience I had with the three of them has been life-changing for me. In fact, this time together documenting has meant everything to me.I believe this is what I'm meant to do.
“Danielle's mentorship has changed me in so many ways. I'm now able to do what feels right for me in the world of photography and storytelling.”
