I am a photographer, a writer and a coach passionate about finding harmony, unity and the magic that lives among us. I am a curious dreamer interested in the arts, mysticism and soulful connection with others. I value creativity, and connection; finding love and community; and even joy in the small delights of life. I envision a world where we embrace the magic that lives inside of us, where we are able to transcend our inner demons and make peace with our inner child. Our inner child never leaves us, and it’s up to us to take care of ourselves and reconnect with the curiosity, joy, and play that was so innate in our early years. By doing so, we can begin to live a life that is in true alignment with our deepest selves. My mission is to help guide people back to their magic and into their bodies through mystical fine art photography and inner child-focused coaching. I use my own journey to inspire my work.
From childhood to adulthood I disconnected from my body and self as a way to cope through the turmoil caused by an autoimmune disease called Crohn’s Disease. My gut was inflamed, my mind would wander, and it was as if my spirit hung out in the ethers. Art has always been my safe space. It was a space to create and simply be myself, without any regard for rules or expectations. And my mind would often wander to fairytales and mysticism. As kids we grow up on stories of monsters and heroes, far off kingdoms and merfolk that live in the waters. But what if the monsters and heroes were real, and they are fragments of our own being?
Throughout my long journey reconnecting with my inner child I learned a few things: I am the dragon, the warrior, the witch, and the queen. We are our own fairy godmothers, and we create our own magic.
My fine art fairytale series is for those who wish to transcend the ordinary, to see more light and beauty in all that surrounds them. To be more understanding of our deepest selves. And, although waters get dark and cloudy, and much appears confusing, the magic lives just beneath the surface. That is where our light shines, waiting for our acknowledgement, waiting for us to hold and love it tenderly.
A MONSTER CALLS
“Reclaim Power has been an incredibly beautiful brave and safe space to share my journey of coming back home to myself, of finding myself, and connecting to my true inner power.
It has been a breath of fresh air to listen to what everyone else has been going through, as we have all been building our businesses and lives in a way that is in alignment with our selves.
It's been a wonderful reminder that we are not alone, and I really cherish the connections and community that has formed throughout the year of Reclaim Power.”
